Latvian Telecom Expenditure Set to Surge to €684 Million by 2028 RIGA—Latvia’s telecommunications expenditure is projected to climb to approximately €684 million by 2028, up from €593 million in 2023. This marks an average annual growth rate of 2.3%, according to recent data. Since the turn of the millennium, Latvian telecom demand has consistently grown, averaging a 4.7% increase each year. In the current year, Latvia ranks 27th globally in telecom expenditure. Slovenia narrowly edged out Latvia, also reporting telecom spending of €593 million. Leading the global rankings in this sector are France, the United Kingdom, and Italy, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots respectively.
