Since 2000, demand for telecommunications services in Slovenia has increased by 3.5% annually. In 2021, Slovenia was the 26th largest telecommunications market in the world, just behind Lithuania, which had €791.3 million in expenditure. France, the UK and Italy ranked in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
