In 2021, India was the 23rd largest exporter of phosphate, with Sweden in the lead at $573 million. Jordan, Russia and Peru ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Imports of Indian phosphate are predicted to drop by an average of 0.5% year on year, reaching $721 million by 2026. Since 1993, India's demand has decreased by 1.2% year on year. The United States, Indonesia and Lithuania were the top three importers in 2021.
