India topped the list of phosphate importers in 2021, with $740 million. The US, Indonesia and Lithuania followed in second, third and fourth place. Colombia saw the biggest jump in phosphate imports, rising 257% since 2016, while Canada had the biggest decline, dropping 85%. Global phosphate export is set to drop 3% by 2026, from $2.2 billion in 2021. Since 2016, supply has decreased by 2% annually. Morocco was the largest exporter of phosphate in 2021, with $856 million. Jordan, Russia and Peru followed in second, third and fourth place. Austria was the biggest gainer, with a 603% jump since 2016, while Lebanon saw the biggest decline, with a 75% drop.
