Saudi phosphate imports are projected to drop 8.7% a year over the next five years. In 2021, the country imported $1.4 billion worth of phosphate, which was good enough for 38th place. Chile was the top importer at $1.4 billion, followed by the US, Indonesia, and Lithuania. Since 1996, Saudi Arabia's demand for phosphate has fallen 13.5% annually.
