In 2018, imports of phosphate to the Philippines amounted to close to $605,700, an 18.4% increase from the previous year. This figure is still down 59.6% compared to 2001. Tanzania took the 39th spot in the rankings, with imports valued at around $11,550. Myanmar, however, overtook the Philippines, taking the 41st spot with the same amount of imports. The United States, Indonesia and Lithuania respectively took the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots in the rankings.
