Israeli imports and exports of phosphate have dropped significantly over the past two decades. In 2021, imports were down 46.3% from 2020, and 51.9% since 2002. Moldova was the top importer at $247,480, with the United States, Indonesia and Lithuania taking second, third and fourth place respectively. Exports of phosphate from Israel are set to fall 21.5% year-on-year, reaching $7.75 million by 2026. This is a 22% drop since 2000. Senegal was the top exporter at $29.5 million, while Jordan, Russia and Peru followed in second, third and fourth place.
