Lebanon's phosphate imports are projected to reach $46 million by 2026, up 0.6% annually since 2021. Since 2002, Lebanon's demand has grown 13.3% year on year. In 2021, it ranked 15th, behind Bulgaria at $44 million. The US, Indonesia, and Lithuania placed second, third, and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Lebanese phosphate exports dropped 23% in 2018 to $385 million from $500 million in 2017. Since 2003, Lebanon's supply has declined 75.4% year on year. It ranked 56th in 2018, behind Ukraine at $385 million. Jordan, Russia and Peru placed second, third, and fourth, respectively.
