In 2021, Colombia ranked 42nd, behind Egypt's 8,870 kilograms. China, Japan and the United States ranked second, third and fourth respectively. In 2018, Colombia exported 93.33 kilograms of lithium, down 38.7% from the previous year's 152.13 kilograms. The country came in 41st, behind Malaysia's 93.33 kilograms. Argentina, Belgium and China ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
