Zimbabwean demand for tea rose sharply in 2016 and has continued to grow since then. Last year, the country was the 78th largest tea-consuming nation in the world. Sri Lanka, however, surpassed them with 20 kilograms per capita consumption. China, Japan and the US were the top three tea-consuming nations, in that order.
