Namibia's imports of lithium plummeted by 95% in 2018, down to just 2.58 kilograms from 51 kilograms in the previous year. This marks a 61.7% decrease since 2011. Bosnia and Herzegovina leapfrogged Namibia to become the 84th largest importer of lithium in 2018. China, Japan and the United States were the world's largest importers, coming in at second, third and fourth place respectively.
