Dane lithium imports are forecast to drop by around 8.5% annually through 2026, reaching just under 40,000 kilograms by the end of the period. Since 1994, imports have risen at an average rate of 3% each year. In 2021, Finland overtook Dane to take 28th place in the rankings, with 68,350 kilograms imported. China, Japan, and the United States ranked second, third, and fourth in the list. Exports of Dane lithium are expected to increase by around 3.5% annually over the same period, reaching just over 52,000 kilograms by the end of the forecast period. Since 1995, exports have grown by 24.8% each year. Japan overtook Dane in 2021, with 43,890 kilograms exported, putting the country in 17th place. Argentina, Belgium, and China ranked second, third, and fourth in the list.
