Indonesia's imports of lithium are projected to drop 8.5% a year on average over the next five years, to 27,260 kilograms in 2026. That's a decline of 22.1% since 1994. In 2021, Indonesia was the 31st largest importer of lithium, well behind Slovenia, which imported 46,010 kilograms. China, Japan, and the United States were the next three biggest importers. Since 2017, Indonesian imports have dropped 61.4% year on year.
