UAE's export of lithium is expected to drop by 5.3% year-on-year from 2021 to 2026. In 2021, it reached 2,440 kilograms and placed 32nd in the world, overtaken by Austria. Argentina, Belgium and China ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. The import of lithium in UAE is forecasted to decrease by an average of 3% annually from 2021 to 2026. Last year, it amounted to 20,960 kilograms and placed 37th in the world, overtaken by Latvia. China, Japan and the United States ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
