Mozambique's import and export of graphite is set to grow significantly over the next five years. In 2021, Mozambique's graphite imports are estimated to reach $90,430, a 3.6% annual growth rate since 2005. Peru overtook the country at 70th in the rankings, while South Korea, the United States and Germany respectively came in second, third and fourth. Mozambique's graphite exports, meanwhile, shot up last year, from $421,880 in 2017 to $1.76 million in 2018 - a 316.9% year-on-year increase. Since 2016, the country's supply has grown 368.2%, while Russia took over 19th place in the rankings. Brazil, Germany and the US ranked second, third and fourth. Mozambique's graphite imports and exports are set to continue to rise over the next five years, with the country's imports expected to reach $112,200 by 2026.
