In 2021, Switzerland ranked 34th in terms of imports and 29th in terms of exports. Pakistan and Laos overtook the country in imports and exports respectively. South Korea, the United States and Germany were the top three importers, while Brazil, Germany and the United States were the top three exporters of graphite.
