This is a significant increase from the $70,000 recorded in 2021 - an 82% rise since 1999. In 2021, Malta was ranked 73rd in the world for graphite imports, behind Zambia at $70,000. South Korea, the United States and Germany were the second, third and fourth largest importers, respectively.
