Exports of Egyptian quartz are expected to reach almost 40 million kilograms by 2026. This figure is up 2% on a yearly average from 2021's 35.2 million kilograms. Since 2001, Egyptian quartz exports have increased by 7.7% year on year. In 2021, Egypt was the tenth largest exporter of quartz, with Italy at the top with 35.2 million kilograms. China, Spain and Norway were the next three biggest exporters.
