Kenya's quartz imports declined 3.6% in 2018, compared to the previous year. The country came in at 52nd place, with Tanzania coming in ahead of it at 21,630 kilograms. China, Spain, and Norway took the top three spots, respectively. In 2018, Kenya's quartz imports totalled 2,608,700 kilograms, which was 37.4% lower than the 4,165,400 kilograms it imported in 2017. Since 1997, Kenya's demand for quartz has risen 18.2% year on year, placing it at 39th in the 2018 rankings, with Luxembourg ahead at 2,608,700 kilograms. China, Norway and France took the top three spots, respectively.
