Since 2008, Malawian import decreased to 8,870 Kilograms in 2017. Malawi's quartz exports are set to reach around 81,000 kilograms by 2026, down from 88,000 kilograms in 2021. This is a decrease of 1.4% per year since 2008. In contrast, imports of quartz have dropped sharply since 2016. In 2017, 8,900 kilograms were imported, down from 25,000 kilograms in 2016, or 64.6% from the year before. This is a decrease of 87% since 2008.
