Peruvian quartz import is set to reach around 260,000 kilograms by 2026, growing at an average of 3.1% year-on-year. Since 1997, Peruvian demand has increased by 24.9% year-on-year. In 2021, Peru ranked 82nd, with Zimbabwe coming first at 215,330 kilograms. China, Norway and France followed in the rankings in positions two, three and four. Peruvian quartz export dropped to 4,170 kilograms in 2018 from 52,080 kilograms in 2017, a decrease of 92% compared to 2017. Since 1997, Peruvian supply has decreased by 30.7% year-on-year. In 2018, Serbia overtook Peru, who were in 63rd place, with 4,170 kilograms. China, Spain and Norway respectively followed in the rankings in positions two, three and four.
