In 2018, Kazakhstan's quartz export plummeted to 80,900 kilograms from 2,746,400 kilograms in 2017, a decrease of 97.1 percent from the previous year. Since 2006, the country's supply has decreased by 10.1 percent annually. Malawi overtook it at 80,900 kilograms, with China, Spain and Norway ranking second, third, and fourth respectively.
