Spanish quartz export is forecast to reach 650 million kilograms by 2026, up from nearly 600 million kilograms in 2021. This growth rate of 1.5 percent year-on-year has been steady since 1994, when export rose 1.8 percent year-on-year. Spain ranked third in 2021, behind China's 597,560,000 kilograms. China, Spain and Norway were the top three countries in the ranking. Spanish quartz import is set to reach 206 million kilograms by 2026, up from 166 million kilograms in 2021. This is a year-on-year compound annual growth rate of 3.6 percent since 1994, when demand rose 8.3 percent year-on-year. Spain ranked sixth in 2021, behind South Korea's 166,040,000 kilograms. China, Norway and France were the top three countries in the ranking.
