Lithuania's quartz import fell by more than half in 2021, according to figures released, dropping to 6,630 kilograms from 13,860 kilograms in 2020. This marks a 39.6% decrease since 1999. Bermuda overtook Lithuania, coming in at number 106 with 6,630 kilograms, while China, Norway and France ranked 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Meanwhile, Lithuanian quartz exports are set to reach 135,840 kilograms by 2026, up from 109,790 kilograms in 2021. This marks an average 3.6% year-on-year growth since 2008, a 93.9% increase overall. Uganda came in at number 42 in 2021 with 109,790 kilograms, while China, Spain and Norway ranked 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
