Nepalese quartz imports are set to grow 2.8% annually over the next five years, reaching 2.6 million kilograms by 2026. In 2021, the country ranked 40th among global quartz importers, with 2.2 million kilograms imported. Kenya was ahead of Nepal at that time. China, Norway, and France were the top three quartz importers in 2021, respectively. Nepalese quartz exports decreased from 74 kilograms in 2014 to 61 kilograms in 2015, compared to the previous year.
