Exports of German silica sand are projected to decline by 1.6% annually on average, to 1.38 billion kilograms by 2026 from 1.52 billion kilograms in 2021. Belgium was the top exporter in 2021, followed by the United States, Belgium and Germany in second, third and fourth place respectively.
