Sales of silica sand in Slovakia increased 12.8% to €7.9 million in 2019, up from €7 million in 2018. The country was 15th in the global ranking, with Slovenia overtaking at €7.9 million. Germany, France, and the Netherlands held the next three spots in the ranking.
