Jordan's imports of silica sand are forecast to decline by an average of 3.5% annually over the next five years, falling from 669,000 kilograms in 2021 to 544,000 kilograms in 2026. Since 1999, Jordanian demand has declined by 19.8% year-on-year. In 2021, the country ranked 93rd, overtaken by Pakistan with 668,570 kilograms. Slovenia, Singapore and Belgium ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Jordan's exports of silica sand grew by 12.6% in 2018 compared to 2017, rising from 1.5 million kilograms to 1.6 million kilograms. Since 2000, the country's supply has decreased by 31.1% year-on-year. In 2018, Jordan ranked 57th, overtaken by Morocco with 1.6 million kilograms. The US, Belgium and Germany were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
