However, since 2017, the global supply has decreased by 1.7% year-on-year. In 2021, the US ranked first in terms of CT exams performed, with 79 million exams. France, South Korea and Germany followed, ranking second, third and fourth respectively. Costa Rica experienced an 8.1% year-on-year increase, while Chile saw a 1.5% decrease since 2017.
