While countries like China (198.42 kg/ha) saw a slight decline of 0.98%, notable increases were observed in Belize (9.81%), Seychelles (9.15%), and Benin (12.1%). Over the past two years, countries like Armenia, Bahamas, and Maldives have shown significant growth in nitrogen fertilizer use, indicating a trend towards increased agricultural inputs in certain regions.

African countries and those in South Asia are likely to increase their nitrogen use, given the observed double-digit growth.
