The count decreased from 118 units in 2013 to 90 units in 2019, before gradually recovering to 96 units in 2023. The year-on-year variation in 2022 stood at 1.06%, and the average annual growth rate (CAGR) for the last five years up to 2023 was 1.08%. Following this period, a modest growth trend is predicted with a 2028 forecast indicating a 0.62% CAGR, representing a total increase of 3.12% over the next five years.
Looking forward, trends to monitor include technological advancements in CT scanner development, government healthcare expenditure, and possible integration of AI for diagnostic procedures. Market dynamics and healthcare policies will also be crucial in shaping future growth.
