In 2023, Germany led European electronic waste recovery with 34.79 thousand metric tons, followed by France at 27.39 thousand metric tons. Germany saw a modest 3.73% year-on-year increase, while France experienced a higher 5.45% growth. The UK, in third place, increased slightly by 1.32%. Poland showed a significant 11.62% growth, reflecting a rising trend. Contrarily, Norway experienced a decline of 3.88%, and Croatia marginally decreased by 0.52%. Malta marked an extraordinary 43.1% increase, despite its smaller scale, possibly driven by improved recovery processes.
