Forecast: Primary Solid Biofuels Final Consumption in Industry in the Netherlands

The primary solid biofuels final consumption in the industry in the Netherlands has shown significant fluctuations over the past decade. Between 2013 and 2018, consumption witnessed a peak in 2015 with minor fluctuations, followed by a decline reaching its lowest in 2019 and 2020. However, from 2021 onwards, we observed a modest recovery with a year-on-year increase standing at 3.51 thousand terajoules in 2023. The CAGR over the last five years indicated a gradual average annual decline of -2.05%.
