European Renewables and Biofuels Transformation Output Share by Country (Terajoules)

In 2023, France led the European renewables and biofuels transformation output share with 17.26 terajoules. Germany followed closely with 15.89 terajoules, showing a 2.67% increase from the previous year. The United Kingdom, Spain, and Italy were notable contributors with output shares of 8.66, 7.9, and 7.13 terajoules respectively. Looking ahead, trends to watch for include potential increases in output shares from countries like Cyprus, which showed a 24.84% growth in 2023, and Moldova, with a 16.55% growth.
