The volume of pigment imported dropped to around 7,600 kilograms, a decrease of 48% from the previous year's figure of roughly 14,600 kilograms. This downturn continues a longstanding trend. Since 1995, Malawian demand for pigments has consistently fallen, with an annual decrease of about 38%.
