In the global rankings for 2023, Uruguay holds the 32nd position, with Greece slightly ahead at the same export volume of 512,000 kilograms. Leading the list are Germany, Saudi Arabia, and China, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively. On the import front, Uruguay's pigment imports are expected to rise to nearly 205,000 kilograms by 2028 from about 196,000 kilograms in 2023, marking a slight annual growth of 0.7%. Since 1999, the country's demand for pigments has seen a steady increase of 0.9% per year.
