Dutch pigment exports are projected to rise to approximately 7.76 million kilograms by 2028, up from around 7.09 million kilograms in 2023. This translates to an average annual growth rate of 1.5%. In 2023, the Netherlands ranked eighth in global pigment exports, with Japan surpassing it with a similar volume of 7.09 million kilograms. Germany, Saudi Arabia, and China held the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. On the import side, Dutch pigment imports are expected to reach about 4.57 million kilograms by 2028, up from roughly 4.10 million kilograms in 2023. This reflects an average annual growth rate of 1.8%. Since 1997, Dutch pigment demand has grown by 0.9% annually.
