Croatia's pigment export is projected to decline substantially over the next five years. By 2028, exports are expected to drop to around 9,000 kilograms from approximately 14,500 kilograms in 2023, marking an average annual decrease of 7.4%. This downward trend has been ongoing since 1997, with an annual reduction of about 5.2%. In 2023, Croatia ranked 56th in pigment export, with Argentina surpassing it by exporting roughly 14,500 kilograms. Leading the global rankings, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and China secured the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. On the import side, Croatia's pigment demand is on a modest upward trajectory. Imports are forecasted to reach approximately 427,000 kilograms by 2028, up from about 401,000 kilograms in 2023. This represents an average annual growth rate of 1.1%. Since 1997, Croatian pigment imports have seen a slight annual increase of 0.3%.
