Bosnian pigment exports are projected to plummet to roughly 40 kilograms by 2028, a steep decline from the 1,260 kilograms recorded in 2023. This represents a staggering annual decrease of 47.4%. Since 2008, the country’s pigment supply has already been shrinking at a rate of 11.8% annually. In 2023, Bosnia ranked 63rd globally in pigment exports, with Tanzania slightly ahead, also at 1,260 kilograms. The top spots in the ranking were held by Germany, Saudi Arabia, and China, in that order. On the import side, Bosnia's pigment imports are set to climb to approximately 184,000 kilograms by 2028, up from 171,620 kilograms in 2023. This marks a modest annual growth rate of 1.2%. Since 2008, Bosnian demand for pigments has increased at an annual rate of 2.4%.
