Filipina pigment imports are projected to reach approximately 1.19 million kilograms by 2028, up from around 1.17 million kilograms in 2023. This marks an average annual growth rate of 0.3%. However, it's worth noting that since 2001, the demand for pigments in the Philippines has decreased by an average of 0.8% per year. On the export side, the Philippines saw a significant decline in pigment exports. In 2018, pigment exports totaled about 97,000 kilograms, a sharp drop from nearly 139,000 kilograms in 2017. This represents a year-on-year decrease of nearly 30%. Over a longer period, the country's pigment supply has been falling at an average annual rate of 17.9% since 2001.
