Kuwait's pigment import is projected to decline significantly over the next five years. By 2028, imports are expected to reach approximately 719,000 kilograms, down from around 1 million kilograms in 2023. This represents an annual decrease of 5.2% in the compound annual growth rate (CAGR). Despite this downturn, Kuwaiti demand for pigments had previously seen an annual increase of 4.2% since 2011. On the export front, Kuwait's pigment shipments are also set to decrease. By 2028, exports are anticipated to fall to about 298,000 kilograms, down from nearly 310,000 kilograms in 2023. This marks a modest average annual decline of 0.5%. Since 2011, the country's pigment supply has decreased by 3.8% annually. In the global rankings for pigment exports in 2023, Kuwait stood at 36th place, with El Salvador ahead at the same export volume of roughly 310,000 kilograms. Leading the rankings were Germany, Saudi Arabia, and China, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.
