Lebanese pigment exports are projected to decline to approximately 204,000 kilograms by 2028, down from around 263,000 kilograms in 2023. This represents an annual decrease of 4% in compound annual growth rate (CAGR). Despite the recent downturn, Lebanese pigment supply has shown a modest annual increase of 1.5% since 2002. In the global rankings for 2023, Lebanon was positioned at number 38, with Singapore surpassing it by exporting around 263,000 kilograms. Leading the list were Germany, Saudi Arabia, and China, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots respectively. On the import front, Lebanon's pigment imports are expected to drop to about 87,000 kilograms by 2028 from roughly 103,000 kilograms in 2023, marking an annual average decline of 2.5%. Historically, Lebanese pigment demand has been on a downward trend, decreasing by 2.6% each year since 2002.
