Serbia's pigment export is projected to climb to approximately 102,000 kilograms by 2028, up from around 90,000 kilograms in 2023. This represents an average annual growth rate of 2.1%. Since 2010, the country's pigment supply has seen a steady increase of 3.3% per year. In 2023, Serbia ranked 44th globally in pigment exports, with Chile just ahead at a similar volume. Leading the global ranking were Germany, Saudi Arabia, and China, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively. Conversely, Serbia's pigment import is expected to decrease to around 126,000 kilograms by 2028 from about 160,000 kilograms in 2023. This decline reflects an average annual reduction rate of 3.7%. Since 2010, Serbia's demand for imported pigments has dropped by 3.5% annually.
