Milk production in Malawi is set to increase over the next five years. In 2021, the country was ranked 118th in the world with a total production of 208,000 metric tons. This is expected to grow at an average of 2.1% each year, reaching nearly 236,000 metric tons in 2026. Since 1966, Malawi's milk production has grown by an average of 3% each year. Jamaica held the top spot in 2021 with 207,960 metric tons, followed by the United States Virgin Islands, Pakistan, and Brazil.
