Rwandan milk production is set to reach 273,000 metric tons by 2026, an increase of 0.8% year on year. This growth rate has been consistent since 1966, when the country’s total milk production was up 1.5% year on year. In 2021, Rwanda was ranked 111th in terms of milk production, producing 259,820 metric tons. Yemen overtook Rwanda to take the top spot, while the United States Virgin Islands, Pakistan and Brazil took the other top spots.
