Kazakhstan's milk production is on the rise. By 2026, it is expected to reach 6.3 million metric tons, up 1% year on year. This marks an increase of 2.2% since 1997. In 2021, Kazakhstan ranked 25th in global milk production. Japan overtook Kazakhstan, with 5.9 million metric tons. The United States Virgin Islands, Pakistan and Brazil ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
