Milk production in Bangladesh is on the rise. By 2026, it is expected to reach nearly 4 million metric tons, a 0.9% year-on-year average rate increase from the 3.7 million metric tons in 2021. Since 1966, the Bangladeshi supply of milk has grown by an average of 1% per year. In 2021, Bangladesh came in 33rd place in the world rankings, just behind Switzerland with 3.7 million metric tons. The United States Virgin Islands, Pakistan, and Brazil rounded out the top four.
