Lithuanian milk production is set to decline by 1.2% year-on-year between 2021 and 2026. This follows a 1.5% average annual decrease since 1997. In 2021, Lithuania was the 65th largest producer of milk, with 1.5 million metric tons. Nigeria overtook the country, producing 1.5 million metric tons. The United States Virgin Islands, Pakistan and Brazil were the second, third and fourth largest producers, respectively.
