Milk consumption is projected to reach nearly half a billion euros by 2026, according to a recent study. The demand was up 6.3% year on year in 2020. The United Kingdom, Italy, and France came in second, third, and fourth place respectively in the ranking. Romanian milk production is forecast to drop slightly to 4 million metric tons by 2026. In 2021, Romanian supply was down by 1.4% year on year since 1966. Belgium came in first place in the ranking, followed by the United States Virgin Islands, Pakistan and Brazil in second, third and fourth place respectively.
