Ukrainian milk production is expected to drop by 1.6% year-on-year, according to the latest projections. This would bring the total supply in 2026 to roughly 8.7 million metric tons – down from 9.6 million metric tons in 2021. Since 1997, Ukrainian milk production has steadily declined by an average of 1.6% annually. This year, Ukraine ranks 18th in the world for production, behind Canada's 9.6 million metric tons. The United States Virgin Islands, Pakistan, and Brazil occupy the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.
